NJ got in contact with STOKED wanting a personally branded piece based around the logo of his visual design agency and showcasing his initials. He felt it was important to use a similar style. We incorporated the cube aesthetic of his agency's logo and used 3D design techniques to emphasize his initials, NJ, within the ring's top surface. He choose to get it cast in silver with a black oxidized hand polish finish. NJ is stoked with his ring and loves to wear it when he DJs.

Steven from the Creative Alliance, an epic sign writing & print company based in Auckland, NZ, approached us about creating him a custom ring to embody his company logo. The Creative Alliance specializes in helping to showcase other businesses and their branding through exciting print media. It was an honour to be able to do the same for Steven, taking his company logo, and creating this custom branded piece in the form of a ring. Steven was stoked with his new branded piece.

The Fu & Zen team came to us with an exciting custom ring idea to celebrate and to say thank you to one of their most valuable sta members. This was for working ten years within the Fu & Zen family. Fu & Zen used to be a night club in Auckland City playing Drum and Bass alongside hip hop, unfortunately the club closed down, but Fu & Zen Productions now runs Northern Bass, New Year’s Festival.
The patterns on the top and sides ‘Fu’ and the ‘Zen’ were actually details inside the club on the walls, on the inside of the ring it has a large 10 years! The team was super stoked to be able to present this ring to the legend that worked for ten years and counting.

Gordon from Mapua, South Island, NZ, wanted a memento to represent his business and happy place, the House of Natives Aotearoa, tattoo studio. The design was to showcase the logo on the top face, with a large H.O.N (house of natives) around the band of the ring. Gordon opted for a solid brass casting, a metal that doesn't fade or tarnish over time, and holds a visual wow factor. Gordon is STOKED with his ring!

Leighton Farlie, a singer/songwriter felt the need to add one final piece to his ensemble when he took the stage to perform. That’s where STOKED came in. Leighton shared his idea, and we ran with it! Transforming his 2D logo into 3D form, we cast it in solid silver and polished it o with a black oxidization technique to make the piece pop when worn. Leighton who is stoked with the final result now wears his ring proudly whenever he performs.

DJ Chiccoreli, or Chicco to his mates, is the host of George FMs The Liquid Lowdown show on Sundays. Having hosted the DNB show since 2012, and being no stranger to promotion, (he has bought international acts from all over the globe to spin in the hot spots of Auckland, NZs nightlife,) he felt it important to also promote himself and got in touch to create a custom piece. Using the unique logo from his show, we transformed this image into 3D reality, immortalizing it in this popping solid silver ring. Chicco is stoked with the ring and wears it every day. The Northern Base crew, of the N.Y.E Northern Bass Festival, approached us about a ring for each owner which has led to the creation of dog tags for their staff,. Specifically, those who have served and become 5 year veterans. Casting their logo of the rolling hills (where the festival takes place) in solid silver, and oxidizing with black to make those details pop, we inscribed each name on the reverse. Each owner, and member of staff were stoked to receive such an awesome gesture of appreciation.

State of Mind are legends in the Drum and Bass scene, both locally in New Zealand, and internationally in Europe! Celebrating 20 years of performing together and his 40th birthday, one member was gifted this ring by the other. Both were stoked with the final piece, saying that it‘s awesome to have something to represent the journey and mark two important occasions with a special piece to show appreciation for all the hard work, dedication and good times they’ve shared over the years.

When Tiki contacted us about creating him a piece, we knew we had to go the extra mile. We wanted to match his talent, ambition and style. Being a well-renowned MC and musician throughout New Zealand, and an internationally recognized talent, our goal was to embellish what already existed: his brand. Locking in the design around his logo, we added a secret compartment hidden under the symbol that is revealed when opened! Tiki is stoked with the ring we presented, a ring that represents him, and his whakapapa.

The Brothers Ring was created for a group of friends, 32 strong. One lad had the idea of creating a ring to celebrate their brotherhood. A way to keep them all connected, as some of them were moving overseas. The idea was to have something they all could wear that represented the st bump they would give each other whenever they met up. The design is based around a contemporary take on a sovereign coin, using the letters of the place they hail from, NSNZ, for North Shore, New Zealand. The lads were all stoked with the end result, and are still reppin’ their rings today!

This ring was designed to be a 30th birthday present. All the element involved are directly related to the individual, and we wove them together to tell his story. By using his background, his New Zealand and Irish heritage, his surname Heron, and his love of being up in the mountains, we tied all these pieces together and cast a solid 9ct yellow gold ring, with accents of black oxidization to present him the ring you see here. He was just as stoked, as he was surprised upon receiving this gift.

Car enthusiast Mark owns a classic 1972 Porsche and came to us with a very specic request; to create his cars engine for his nger! We jumped right in the driver seat for this one, did a lot of research to create and capture what he had in mind. Finally we presented him with a bespoke 7 piece ring, cast in both silver and bronze, each metal complimenting the other by highlighting the detail in dierent parts of the engine. Mark was stoked with the results, enjoying his ring as much as he does his car.

The Joan ring was created in memory of a customers grandmother who passed away. It was made for two brothers, and designed based around her funeral card showing Saint Joan on the cover. Using signicant dates, alongside symbols which celebrate her life, this piece captures her memories for the brothers, reminding them how special she was to each of them. Covering the nger from knuckle to knuckle this ring is one of the larger ones we’ve created. Cast in solid silver with black oxidization to highlight even the smallest detail, our customer was stoked with the end result, and even more stoked to send one over to his brother in London.

Laurie came to us with the idea of creating a piece to signify, and embody Aotearoa (New Zealand) for himself. Wanting to have a strong sense of creation in the design, Laurie worked on templates we sent to him to help get the Maori patterns just right. After he had designed the motifs, we placed them in support of the pounamu (green stone) that sits on top. This stone was custom cut specically for his ring. Cast in solid silver, Laurie is stoked with the result of his eorts and wears his ring with pride.

Lucky Lance, from rap crew Team Dynamite is one of New Zealand’s nest MC’s. Being the lyricist he is, he came to us with an idea of a ring made like a lucky horse shoe, playing on his name. To represent himself, and his lifestyle, he opted to embed 15 brilliantly cut 2mm diamonds into the solid 9 ct yellow gold ring, and for a nal touch he had a sentimental message engraved on the inside of the band. A simple design that holds so much meaning, left Lucky Lance stoked with his ring.

On The Rise is a collective of extremely talented individuals. Consciously thinking about their practice, they’re known for works of amazing street art and wanted to capture this ideal in the form of a ring. Based around the crews logo, we designed this piece to incorporate personal meaning to each member on the outsides of the band. Solid silver cast with black oxidization to get the detail to pop like their street art, On The Rise was stoked with their rings!

This skull wearing headphones was conceptualized by a loving wife who wanted to gift her husband something extra special. The design of the skull matched his personal style, and the headphones reect his love of music, representing his massive vinyl collection. Combining these two elements in a solid silver casting with black oxidization, she was stoked to gift him this ring. He loved it!

The Turntable ring was a STOKED passion project. This idea was inspired by all the amazing musicians and DJs from New Zealand that we knew, and we wanted something to represent this idea for ourselves. Combining traditional Maori motifs to adorn the sides, and placing a turntable on top, we achieved a balance between the two driving factor in this design. Casting it in solid silver, and nishing with black oxidizing to help the details pop, we held onto this ring for years. We were stoked to eventually gift it to the deserving Dylan C, an amazing DJ and friend, who inspired us in the Drum and Bass scene.
